caused due to the floods / rain / storm :

  • Monitor weather conditions constantly and implement appropriate measures to reduce the extent of damage caused by flooding.
  • Document the situation through photographs, as they can be instrumental in substantiating your claims when requested by the loss adjusters.
  • Eliminate stagnant water and remove any debris caused by the flood. Thoroughly clean and sanitise all items exposed to moisture.
  • Survey the affected premises to evaluate potential risks such as exposed electrical wiring, structural damage, gas leaks, or excessive dampness.
  • Confirm that the fire protection system is operating effectively.
  • If salvaging is possible, segregate the damaged and undamaged stocks.
  • Thoroughly dry and clean mechanical equipment before restarting and monitor for any irregularities.
